The Chilly Pepper Plan

When our life plan lands on God’s desk for one final seal of approval, he must have his bucket full of chilly peppers of all colors, shapes and sizes right next to his table; just before he signs this plan he reaches out his big enormous hand and scoops out just a handful of them, scatters them randomly over this plan and then goes on to put his signatures.

The parts that get the bells (peppers) stay sweet or sometimes nice and peppery, then there are others that look sharp but turn out quite mellow but every once in a while, you might bite that single stingy one that will make your head spin and ears fume, when you wouldn’t know what hit you and you’ll run about not knowing, where to go?

I just hope in my case he remembers putting a slice of lemon or a pinch of sugar just at an arm’s length. I’m counting on him.

  1. Bhavna…really well put. Every pepper indeed is to teach us…they bring about realizations that would be otherwise missed. Hope something good comes out of this sharp one. May God’s blessings be with you. I’ll pray for you too.

  2. Wow! Loved reading amazed at the thought..isn’t it so true? Pl post more..actually when’s your book out?
